Bali. How do I even begin to describe my first trip to this magical island in Indonesia? As a solo traveler, I am always looking for my next adventure. Bali was everything and more. I was able to relax, trek through rice terraces, meet some amazing locals, experience the Balinese food and traditions, and fall in love with the city. Bali is a place I can see myself going back to every year for the rest of my life, that is how much I loved it.
Here is a photo journal of some of the places I went that I hope inspire you to visit.

It was one of my favorite experiences in Bali. I had been seeing photos of them on Pinterest for years and for me it was one of those moments where I was like, “Wow, I am here. This is amazing.”

Amazing pictures! Bali is one of my all time favourite travel destination. I have done backpacking, adventure, luxury and yoga holidays there, plus couple of work trips, all equally wonderful 🙂
I am looking forward of going to my yoga and meditation jungle retreat by a river in Ubud, the beginning of next year. I can hardly wait to see the smiling happy faces to re welcoming me to the paradise.

Great photos! We went to Bali for a week a few years back. It was magical and beautiful. Like nothing else we have ever seen. If it didn’t take sooooooo long to get there from the states, we would head back soon!

I am flying to Bali in Feb 2017. Would you recommend any other sightseeing places or attractions other than temple visits and spa? All the pictures look nice.
