Over the long weekend I took my mom to Arizona to explore Scottsdale and Sedona. Needless to say, I fell in love. It has been a very long time since I went to a place and felt like “this is home.” I think I have decided that desert is my new favorite landscape. <3
I will be writing about this trip in the near future – but until then, here are some of my favorite photos.

Haha that’s what everyone has said! Over 100 days of 100+ degree weather. That’s crazy – but I would still move there
Sedona is too beautiuful, and I love the sunset at Boulders Resort. It is magic!

Thank you! It was a fantastic trip ?
Arizona looks so amazing! Definitely not what I had imagined.

the landscape changes often and it is very diverse. I only went to two cities – so it may be very different elsewhere.
Those sunsets are gorgeous. I love visiting AZ but don’t think I could handle the heat for more than a few days.

It definitely was .. hot – but nothing compared to where I live with the humidity.
oh yeah, humidity changes everything! haha.

haha sometimes it is so hot where I live that you walk outside and it feels as if you are walking into a hot shower LOL
my hair would hate it there 😉 I don’t blame you for wanting to move to Arizona. lol.

you should see my hair – i make it nice and then walk outside and look like a lion haha

This made my heart swell with joy; Scottsdale is one of my favorite places on the planet and I never get tired of those gorgeous desert landscapes. I’m heading back in September, but I’ll live vicariously through your posts for now.

I have been wanting to visit Scottsdale for a while now and looking at your pictures is making me want to go right now! It has this amazing feeling of the tropics and desert combined. Can’t wait to read your post 🙂
Don’t come now! We are under an excessive heat warning this week and will be hitting 120-122 degrees!!

I live here and I think it’s beautiful too! Don’t mind the heat either, that’s what the pool is for 😉
Loved your photos! I recently took a trip to Arizona for the first time (I live in Oregon) over Labor Day weekend. I loved your photos of Scottsdale! My husband and stayed in Scottsdale and made a day trip to Sedona. What beautiful natural wonders! – JB
