When I was planning my trip to Toronto I did some research on must see local spots in Toronto and Art Alley came up. Prior to this trip I was not a huge street art fan, primarily because I did not have much experience in seeing it. If you really want to dive head first into some amazing pieces, Toronto has you covered.
Located in the Fashion District, there are a few blocks covered in a wide variety of murals from all sizes, and some of the work is so detailed and spectacular. I spent about two hours exploring the murals and you could really spend the day there if you wanted. There is so much to see!
Know Before Visiting:
- Location: 1 Rush Lane, Toronto, Ontario – South of Queen Street West from Spadina Avenue to Portland Street
- Wear closed shoes – there is a lot of glass and broken objects back there that you would not want in your feet
- It does get busy – go early if you don’t want people in your photos
