Feeling hungry but don’t want to leave your room? The hotel offers 24/7 room service available to guests and the menu is divine. Since I had checked into a one bedroom suite during my stay, I had a corner nook area to dine or work at. I opted to do room service breakfast and it was incredible.

Pro tip: if you are having a drink in Quadrant, stay for a meal. If you cannot stay for an entire meal, I would highly recommend the passion fruit panna cotta. This was easily one of the best desserts I have ever had in my entire life and worth ordering.

  • Airport Info: Washington, D.C. is centrally located offering service to three neighboring airports. Just a quick drive from the hotel is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), about a 45 minute drive in either direction you will find Dulled International Airport (IAD) in Virginia and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) in Maryland. It is possible to take a series of buses and trains into Washington upon your arrival.
    • If you are planning to arrive by Metro, the closest is Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle. Foggy Bottom is about four DC blocks and Dupont is about six blocks.
  • The hotel does offer valet parking for guests.
  • Uber and Lyft are widely available in the Washington, D.C. Metro area around the clock as is taxi service.

    • Washington Monument: 1.7 miles (the Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, and other various Memorials and Monuments are all within that area and walk able).
    • John F. Kennedy Center: 0.8 miles

Things to Consider When Visiting:

  • Washington, D.C. gets over 20 million visitors each year and even on the slow months the city is busy. A lot of people commute into the city for work each day from Virginia and Maryland. Even with the Metro system and buses, there is still a lot of traffic.
    • During the morning rush hour (about 7-1030 and evening, about 4-730) you can see a lot of traffic. If you are planning to go somewhere or need to arrive somewhere during these hours, plan in advance. Additionally, if you are not driving, transportation costs will be higher and in demand.
  • Washington, D.C. has four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
    • Spring offers the Cherry Blossoms and all the events surrounding them
    • Summer can be very warm, making August the least visited time of year and the best time to get a deal!
    • In December you can see the tree lighting
