Consider booking the suite options for a special occasion, as the plunge pool would make for a special experience on a celebratory birthday, anniversary, or even honeymoon. The W Costa Rica – Reserva Conchal resort staff will ensure you and your party have a memorable experience at their accommodations.
During my visit I checked into the “Spectacular Ocean Escape.” Offering views of the ocean, lush greenery and the “living room.” With over 600 square feet of space, a vibrant room of colors, a luxurious bathroom, plenty of storage, and spacious balcony – this room was perfect for my stay.
I would consider room service for breakfast! There is a nice selection of food available and nothing says vacation like “breakfast in bed.”
There are a few options for dining on-premises at the W Costa Rica – Reserva Conchal, and you won’t be disappointed with the culinary options at the resort. In-room dining service is also available 24/7. Be sure you ask a staff member for a schedule of restaurant availability, as the hours and days open may vary throughout your stay.
There was a nice amount of vegan and vegetarian options available on the menus! Additionally, if you have an allergy, let the chef know. They went above and beyond to accommodate a gluten allergy on this trip.
Cocina de Mercado is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering buffet options for breakfast as well as a la carte dining. A large open kitchen, a pizza oven, and more entice diners with fantastic options. You’ll find local Costa Rican fare as well as international delicacies here, from comfort food classics to lighter selections.
The formal restaurant on the property, Latitud 10 Norte, offers fine dining with a focus on seafood selections. The chef specializing in a menu featuring prominent Costa Rican traditional dishes, with inventive Thai and Asian twists. The service is impeccable, and you’ll leave feeling as though you savored dishes that evoked the traditions of Costa Rica, but with modern flair and refinement.
Offering lunch and dinner service, Zona Azul offers an upbeat lounge atmosphere, complete with a memorable sunset and lively DJ for ambiance. Serving international cuisine, you’ll find a little bit of everything on the Zona Azul menu.
The resort’s WET Deck offers lunch service, with lighter options between meals as well as a full cocktail list. Order your favorite tropical beverage and relax under the sun as you enjoy the poolside atmosphere.
Finally, the Living Room and Bar offers fine beverages, as well as lunch and dinner service. This casual eatery has many options to satisfy any palate.
If relaxation and rejuvenation are the requisites for your vacation, be sure to book services at the AWAY Spa, the signature destination for rejuvenation at the W Costa Rica – Reserva Conchal. You’ll find couples massages, in-room treatments, facials, body wraps, and even a full steam room available for your tranquility and restoration. With treatment rooms set against the backdrop of the tranquil rain forest, you’re bound to enter endless relaxation at the AWAY Spa.
Be sure you spend some time on the WET Deck, an expansive infinity edge pool featuring day beds, surrounded among trees and the clear ocean off in the distance. It also features the WET Deck Living Room, an indoor/outdoor oasis perfect for a relaxing afternoon with a refreshing cocktail.
There are two separate pools on the property, so you won’t be fighting for space to enjoy a poolside vacation. Head over to the Beach Club and get access to the beach for a different experience away from the resort. Just a quick 5 minute golf cart ride or walk-able distance.
The W Costa Rica – Reserva Conchal resort staff offer off-site activities, including excursions for a helicopter volcano ride and a river cruise, and much more. Be sure you inquire at the front desk about these extra amenities.
The resort also features a fitness center, bike tours, and of course the tranquil Conchal Beach. The beach is fairly expansive, so you’ll feel as though you’re enjoying an exclusive beach location in the spacious sand. You won’t find beach chairs due to conservation reasons in the area, but the hotel will gladly provide beach mats for your relaxation in the sand.
Take a walk along the Mangrove trees, enjoy a sumptuous spa treatment, book a reservation for a decadent meal at any of the W Costa Rica – Reserva Conchal restaurants, and you have the recipe for an unforgettable vacation.
