The Antigua All Inclusive at Sandals
The Sandals brand epitomizes true luxury with an all inclusive experience that is true to their promise. There are some resorts that may advertise themselves as an Antigua all inclusive, but with Sandals, there’s really nothing you need to worry about upon arrival. This is a true luxury resort with all the bells and whistles, and no one asking for your credit card at every beck and call. There are a few additional enhancements you can make for your stay (like a wonderful trip to the spa, roses, a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne, romantic candlelight dinner, and more) but pretty much everything is included.
You’ll have unlimited access to dine at any of the 11 restaurants on their property, as well as premium spirits from seven bars and highly acclaimed Robert Mondavi wines. Tips, taxes, and all gratuities are included with your nightly rate. Round-trip airport transportation is arranged for your convenience. Watersports are often an extra expense at Antigua all inclusive resorts, but when it comes to scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boating, and more, these recreational activities included with equipment for your use and professional instructors standing by at Sandals Grande Antigua. You can also utilize the six fresh water pools on the resorts grounds. There are even more amenities included with your nightly stay, making this Antigua all inclusive true to its word.
Island Routes is located in the Caribbean village and offers additional paid excursions like a sunset sail. We did this during our trip and it was so beautiful! Beverages and snacks were aplenty and the captain kept the party going.
Additionally, you can rent a pool cabana each day! I did get a cabana in the Mediterranean Village and it came equipped with outside loungers, a couch, an inside table with chairs, a table, a cooler, and food and beverage delivery service. You also could walk right into the pool and get drinks from the swim-up bar.
One of the best ways to spend your day at Sandals Antigua is at the stunning beach. The water is crystal clear! There are towels and chairs out for those wishing to be at the beach.

I had the privilege of staying at the Mediterranean One Bedroom Butler Villa with Private Pool Sanctuary. This enclave is located within the Mediterranean Ocean-view Village and is a member of the Love Nest Luxury Suites collection, enhanced with dreamy views of the Dickinson Bay and gorgeous beach.
This villa comes with a really unique private patio that has its own whirlpool tub and separate pool with lounge chairs. This is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast outside or read a novel with a tropical cocktail with your toes in the water. There is a separate dining area, where your butler can ensure a special private meal service or setup room service, available 24 hours per day. The beach is in quite close proximity, and you can hear the waves quietly crashing in the distance, but the special patio is tucked away from the crowds, bringing a sense of peace, serenity, and privacy to your own little slice of Antigua. Pro Tip: if you have allergies, let them know when you check in, or if you have a butler. Sandals does a fantastic job of making food safe for its guests. My husband is Celiac (allergic to gluten) and they treat him like a king and make everything gluten free for him, in separate pans, with gloves, and so on so that there is no cross contamination.
Additionally, on Monday nights the resort hosts a beach BBQ that should not be missed. I did not get the chance to attend in Antigua, but I did go at the Sandals Montego Bay and I hear they are similar. Offering generous food and drinks along with entertainment.
