In January I went to Scotland for a week with my best friend and we spent our time exploring Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands. The weather was cold and rainy with snow mixed in – but that didn’t stop us from having a great week seeing what Scotland had to offer. We explored the streets of Edinburgh and cruised the Scottish Highlands in search of Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster – but alas, we did not locate her. Maybe next time!

Thank you! I bet it’s even prettier when it’s not so gloomy ?

Thank you – and I agree!! I love all the cobblestone and facades
Such lovely shots, Scotland is definitely postcard-proof, hahah. Really getting the historic vibes through your photos 🙂
Oh my ❤️❤️❤️
What a series of beautiful photos, I absolutely adore visiting Scotland. It’s just so scenic and there are so many places to take photos. I remember the first time we took a road trip through the Highlands and we had to keep pulling over so we could take more photos! Thanks for sharing your collection ?
I love your photos here. I did a road trip around the highlands a few years ago and its amazing to see a different type of beauty on my home islands. Im loving your Highlands photos but I found Loch Ness to be too touristy, the lochs nearby I found a lot better. But I am the sort of guy who loves quietness and probably wants Scotland all to himself for hiking and drinkies 😀 😀 :Great post 🙂
Great post and incredible photos, Scotland is a fabulous place to visit with so much to see. Most people don’t realise how impressive it is. We’ve just returned from 6 weeks working in Pitlochry and it was so good that we’re going back for 8 weeks next summer. Love the photos.
Your photos have completely made me fall in love with Scotland. I’m dying to visit now. The architecture looks so ornate and historic. And the countryside looks like absolute perfection.
Wow, absolutely gorgeous pictures. We are headed to Scotland next June and this post is fueling my excitement!!
Brilliant photography! So atmospheric – cannot wait to get up to Scotland next year 🙂
Loved browsing through the photos. These are superb. Did’nt know scotland was this beautiful. Thanks for sharing..
Scotland seems to amazing! Great pictures, make me want to go there right away! 🙂
Scotland looks amazing! Beautiful owl you met there, any monsters in the loch? I’m interested in seeing the countryside, heard there’s some great nature out there!
I’ve been dreaming of traveling to scotland, especially Lake Loch Ness (have always been fascinated by the legend) for decades. So so jealous. Beautiful images as always. xx
Omg ? amazing ! Breathtaking shots. Your photography skills are brilliant. Loved them all ✌️
Great photos! How did you find the weather? I went to Scotland this June just gone and loved it ? I’m hoping to return in January of 2019
Beautiful photos. I have many shots of my own from those same locations. It’s neat to see how the light plays so differently on things from your photos taken in January vs my trips that have always been in the Spring.
