I love finding all the “Instagram Worthy” photo opportunities within the cities I visit or creating my own, which meant discovering Instagram Toronto on this trip. You never know what street art is hiding in alley ways, foodie hangouts that are spectacular or even floors/doors/walls that are perfection waiting to grace your feed.
When planning your Instagram Toronto photos, keep in mind the photos that perform well on the platform”
- Colorful and delicious desserts
- Coffee shots
- Tiles
- Floors
- Cute shops
- Street art and murals
- Interior design
- Architecture
- Shots with shoes or flowers
When I was in the city, I had no idea where photos would be popular so I turned to Instagram for inspiration. After a few days of digging (because new photos populate every second) I found all the favorites. Here are the best of Toronto!
How to Instagram Toronto:
Take a visit to Safehouse Coffee for the most Instagrammable coffee/tile/floor combo in the city. One of the owners, Tyler Kostman, can usually be found making up drinks and helping people with their Instagram Toronto shots. Some of the other cool features in this coffeehouse are the bathroom walls you can write on and the 80’s/90’s games and books on the wall.

Graffiti Alley is what Instagram Toronto is ALL about. This is a completely free attraction in Toronto so you can save some money on this colorful visit. Located over several blocks, there is an endless amount of murals because something new is always being put in.
The Thompson Hotel Bar is just one of the gorgeous interiors in this hotel that is begging for Instagram Toronto photos. The entire hotel is gorgeous! If you are looking for Anthropologie style shots, this is your place.
Peace Treats displays the Toronto pride large and clear for its visitors.

One simply doesn’t visit Toronto and not get the golden Instagram Toronto shot. A birthday cake milkshake WITH a lit candle?! This is what the gram LIVES for.
