Product Review: 28" Pinnacle Hard Side Suitcase by iFLY Luggage

product-review

If you’ve been following me along, you know I am almost exclusively a carry-on ONLY girl. However, there are a few times during traveling that I can justify a checked bag:

  1. Traveling to 1 international destination for a week or more without moving flights
  2. Going on a cruise
  3. Traveling during winter months where heavier clothing is needed
  4. Long road trips where I can keep everything in one place

When I do checked luggage, its because one of the 4 above items are taking place. I can pack more stuff and have more freedom.
Recently I went on a cruise for a week and brought the 28″ Pinnacle from iFLY Luggage with me. I was able to fit everything I needed for my trip in the suitcase and still had room and was under the weight restrictions. WIN!
My favorite features of this suitcase are the 4 wheels that give 360 degree mobility and how lightweight it is. When I was pushing my suitcase through the airport and ship it felt like air.

Here is what the inside of my suitcase looked like packed for my cruise:

Combination of packing cubes and other items

As you can see I kept clothing on one side and shoes and everything else on the other. The two straps on the one side of the suitcase kept everything tied down that was not under the zippered side.
I am a big advocate of packing cubes. Whether you are carry-on or checked bag, it is a great way to sort your clothes and keep them together when traveling.
I liked the two additional pockets within the suitcase. I use the side pocket for chargers and cords and the long inside pocket for adult coloring materials (yes, I am 33 and love to color – it is very therapeutic).
Overall:
I love this suitcase and how sleek and stylish it is. I am packing it today to use it again for a cold destination and excited to use it again. This suitcase is very affordable compared to other suitcases on the market – it is $79 and has the 10 year warranty. It can be purchased online or at Walmart if you prefer to take a look before you purchase it.
Having used all kinds of suitcases in my life from the pricing of $25-$300, I can tell you that I am in love with iFLY suitcases and their low prices.

I truly love the design from what it looks like outside to what it looks like inside. Truly simply since the color is simple, but very elegant. I’ll surely check this one, if ever I get the chance. Anyway, you truly have convinced me to buy, you truly have written this so well.

We have been looking for a new suitcase for awhile! The last two we had were bought in Korea and just broke down months after we bought one. I love that this one has a hard case AND a 10 year warranty!! We will totally look into buying this, or try winning it! Thanks so much!

My suitcase broke this past Christmas, so I’m in the market for a new one! I love the 4 wheels, 360 degree mobility feature. The wheels on a suitcase make all the difference!

Very stylish indeed! I love that the wheels give it a 360 rolling capability, the wheels broke on my last suitcase during our last round the world trip, so looking for something a bit more durable and sturdy now. The 28″ Pinnacle from iFLY Luggage sounds great!

Having a suitcase break during a trip is the worst. Sometimes things happen though – that is why I love the 10 year warranty on this.

I’m in the market for a new suitcase and this one looks like a beauty. The wheels look like they would make the suitcase a cinch to handle.

You are spot on. I am giving one away on Instagram, and today is the last day to enter if you are in the market.

I usually carry a backpack but do prefer a suitcase if I’ll be staying in the same place during my travels (ex: all-inclusive vacation). The Pinnacle suitcase looks sturdy and stylish!

This suitcase looks great! Mine is about to bite the dust and I’ve been doing some research. I love the bags that roll all ways. I entered the Instagram giveaway!

I usually travel long term with a backpack as I can just chuck it on buses, in the back of trucks etc! But for shorter trips if I can’t manage hand luggage then I love the convenience of wheelie luggage! The easy-spin wheels are a great feature – I would love it in another colour though, everyone has black luggage, they all look the same on the luggage belt!

We recently got a new hardcase bag and loved it. I was like you and didn’t really pack much until we had a baby and now everything except the kitchen sink pretty much gets packed because you never know what you’ll need hahaha I’ve never heard of packing cubes but now I want to check that out too. ^^

This suitcase looks amazing and I love that it is so light because sometimes I have a hard time lugging around really heavy suitcases and the 10 year warranty is a huge bonus! P.S- you had some super cute shoes in your suitcase!

I entered! It looks like a great suitcase. For me I agree, a suitcase must be light weight and have the 360 wheels. This one is stylist too!

I can’t believe what value this case offers whilst still packing in those features! We’re carry-on travellers too but tend to take our packs – I definitely like the idea of something like this for a one-stop trip like you mentioned. Just about time to replace our cases too 😉

Ok a couple of things – 1) I love this suitcase and the fact that it has those 360 wheels. Soooo handy and easy in the airport. And 2) Where are those red shoes from??? SO cute!
