Imagine going to Bali to stay in a private villa. Then imagine that villa is an estate and it is all yours for the duration of your stay. Complete with a 24 hour butler, high tea, breakfast, your own pool, outdoor living space, flower baths in nature, and a luxury experience you won’t forget.

My stay at Kayumanis Jimbaran was unbelievable. I had previously stayed at one of their other properties that was just as luxurious in Ubud, but Jimbaran was bigger and it was like having a home to yourself in a beautiful destination. The resort offers 1 and 2 bedroom estates and they certainly do not disappoint.
Common area
During my stay I stayed in a 1 bedroom estate. Since I was traveling solo there was no need for a 2 bedroom. The estate area and outdoor space is very big – you have a lot of privacy and you never have to leave your room during your stay if you do not want to. Room service, high tea and massages can be done at your estate.
When you walk in, you have full privacy stone walls and then it opens up to 2 separate buildings, an outdoor living area, a private pool and sunning deck and then a bedroom and bathroom area.

In the outdoor living area you have a living room, dining room, kitchen, and then an indoor massage room that can be used as a second bedroom and comes with a bathroom and outdoor shower. I liked how cozy all the furniture is in this space. The couch is very plush and a great place to wind down out of the sun to read a book, watch TV, take a nap, or anything your heart desires.

I found the pool to be big. You could easily put 4 adults in the pool and have plenty of room to swim around and hang out. There is a side part to the pool that is about 1-2 feet deep that was nice to just wade in. The estate also came with two lounge chairs and an umbrella to hang out pool side and a bed to relax on.
The bedroom was equipped with a King size bed, a desk area to work, a daily restocked included minibar, large closest space, a day bed for relaxing, plenty of space and then an amazing outdoor bathroom. I had never used an outdoor bathroom prior to coming to Bali but now I am in love. There’s some sense of freedom about taking a bath or shower with nature.

I came back to my room one evening and my butler was filling my tub up with flowers <3 If that isn’t top notch service, I don’t know what is.

The Food:
The food at Kayumanis is unbelievable. One of my favorite things that the brand offers is all day breakfast. You can order your included breakfast any time of the day and eat it either at your estate or the restaurant. I love breakfast and it is y favorite meal of the day. I was incredibly happy that they offer a large selection of items that are made to perfection.
I dined in my estate for my other meals and one of my favorite dishes they prepared were ribs. They were so tender and would make any restaurant back home cry because they were so good.
Also included in your stay is daily high tea. As a connoisseur of tea, this really made my stay extra special. The tea snacks are all local delights and compliment the tea well.
I did venture out and eat at the restaurant. I tried one of their dishes that they are popular for, Bebek Mekudus (smoked duck). You must try it if you visit. It was unbelievable. The duck was smoked perfectly and so tender it would just dissolve in your mouth. This dish is so good I would go back to Bali just to have this.

The onsite restaurant, Kayumanis Resto Jimbaran, offers local Indonesian cuisine. You can dine for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant or outside on their deck. Either way, your experience will be top notch. The Indonesian hospitality is top notch and they will take excellent care of you.

The grounds outside the restaurant
No matter what you order, the presentation is always five star, the food is unforgettable and the service is top tier. Even if you do not stay at the hotel, the restaurant is worth the visit.
The Spa:
The resort does offer a spa. I checked in to see what it looked like but ultimately took my treatments in my room since it came with its own area for this. The option is yours and the massage will be just as great no matter where you get it while you are here.
The Property:
The property is not very big in general. They offer the private estates, a restaurant, a spa, and reception. Once you get passed reception and the restaurant, there’s a beautiful pathway that leads to the estates. One of the nice things about the property being small is that all the staff are dedicated to few people and they take very good care of you.

Overall:
I would say overall this was my highlight stay in Bali and I stayed in 6 hotels. This is the place you come to escape everything else in life and the staff are here to make that happen. The luxury of the resort exudes from every corner and nothing gets left out.

This looks like a stunning trip!!
I’ve been to Bali a handful of times and actually made my first documentary there. I think this would be a fabulous place to get some r and r time when I head back. And high tea sounds wonderful in your own villa! Thanks for sharing Nicki!
Great photos.
