Having traveled to 49 states and 24 countries, I have put together a list of my favorite places to visit right now in November.
Dubai
What an amazing over the top and luxurious trip. From the tallest building, to the biggest mall and every changing landscapes of city skyscrapers to desert safaris, this trip will impress you. The weather is finally at a non sweltering state and will make your visit enjoyable.

Iceland
A lot of people visit in the summer, but I am partial to the winter. seeing the waterfalls covered in snow and still flowing, northern lights sightings, hitting the Blue Lagoon in below freezing temps – the country is just as magical during the winter months.

Philippines
I just returned from a nearly month long trip Island hopping among the over 7,000 islands that make up the Philippines. It rained a few days and there was a typhoon .. or two, but my trip was fantastic. The Filipino culture is so hospitable and they love having tourists visit their country. They take pride in their country and it shines through. You will fall in love with the beaches, mountains and cities.

Las Vegas
Probably most notable for its gambling and summer long pool parties, now is the best time to visit as the weather isn’t 100+ degrees and the crowds aren’t as heavy. You can gamble year round but Vegas is so much more than that. They offer world class shows, amazing dining, luxury digs, the Las Vegas Strip is full of free attractions, and the nightclubs are open yer round.

Maui
I would argue there is no bad time to visit. November sees low prices and crowds as the holiday season heats up in December. Maui is a great island for those looking for luxury resorts, colored sand beaches or an actual vacation. The other islands are also amazing, I have just found that Maui is a little less crowded and less touristy.

Really awesome post! Such a great suggestion to visit the countries with sweltering, hot summers in November. I would recommend end of October/start of November also as a great time to visit Lisbon. It was very worm (t-shirt weather), but you could walk for hours without feeling dehydrated or exhausted from the heat.
Author
I have never been to Lisbon .. not yet anyway. Thanks for the addition.
I’m not a fan of the heat so visiting countries which have an extreme summer in their low season is a great idea. Saying that, visiting countries where winter is just about to start is equally awesome.

You are absolutely right!
Love your photos! You have a good eye for angles. That’s an amazing photo of Dubai from the sky and the Dubai Miracle Garden looks so charming and colourful. This is an appealing collection of places to visit in November.

Thank you so much!!
These are great destinations to travel to in autumn. I have visited Dubai before but in February and I remember that the temperatures were very bearable. I would love to go back and experience a camel safari or ride an abra boat.

Riding the abra was one of my highlights!! It only last like 5 minutes but I felt like I was not a tourist but a local
All wonderful suggestions! I am planning a trip to Iceland right now and will have to think about going during the winter instead.

I visited Dubai in February and it was before the rush of heat and was amazing. I still enjoyed the pools and Atlantis
Ooh great ideas! I went to Dubai a few years ago but on a budget so didn’t get to splash out on the luxury items. I did still go on a camel though, the jeep safari in the desert was awesome!
Author
The desert safari was amazing!! I am glad you got to visit.
Wonderful places! I loved Philippines & Dubai. I am planning family trip in December. So I would like to go to Dubai, as I wish to go for desert safari tour & delicious dinner in dhow cruise. Thanks for sharing such a great post.
