The most beautiful street in Paris – Rue Crémieux

Rue Crémieux
Recently on my trip through Europe I was advised to check out this street when I stopped in Paris. Easily the most colorful street in the entire city, Rue Crémieux is a residential street full of pastel colored homes.
I was only in Paris for one day as part of an 8-day rail trip through Europe. I spent about an hour here and had plenty of time to see other places in the city.

Tips:

  • About a 7 minute walk from Bastille Metro stop
  • Keep an eye out for the street, it is mostly businesses surrounding the area
  • Bring all your camera equipment – you will take endless photos
  • Keep social media updated abroad by getting a Skyroam
  • People do live in these homes, respect their privacy and if they ask you not to photograph their home, don’t.

I really appreciate people and cities that take the effort to make their streets look pretty. It is so easy to put up a slab of concrete and call it a building these days. I love the unexpected pop of colour of this street and will be checking it out next time I am in Paris. Thanks for sharing Nicki

Thanks for reading! This street literally comes out of nowhere – it’s pretty business heavy around there. So it was a nice change of pace

So pretty! I love the picture of the cat (maybe because I am a cat person). I will have to check this out next time I am in Paris.

Lovely pictures, especially the one with the cat strolling down the street. Honestly, I wish all cities would give each house a pot of paint and tell them to brighten up each street. The world would be a much better place if everywhere was this colourful!
