Food. It is all about the food. At least for me it is. These are my favorite places to eat while visiting Abu Dhabi!
Breakfast
Rosewater Luxury Buffet – Etihad Towers
It’s a luxurious experience eating in this restaurant. The views are spectacular looking out at the water, the service is top notch, and there were so many scrumptious options for breakfast. I went hungry so that I could try many things. This buffet is 5 out of 5 stars.
They have a wall of bread and pastries. That is essentially the quickest way to my heart! I couldn’t decide what I wanted so I just grabbed a selection.
They have stations where chefs are making different things, so naturally I opted for a Nutella crepe. You cannot go wrong with Nutella, it can be put on everything. Right?
AND, I even had some of the more local foods, which are my favorite back home as well!
Lunch
Tarbouche Al Basha
This stop happened on complete accident when we were touring Abu Dhabi on the hop on hop off tour, at the souk stop number 7. On the ground floor was this restaurant that had delicious smells coming from it, so we knew we had to eat the local flavor.
We ended up with hummus, chicken, falafel, pita, lebneh, naan, and olives. It was all very good. We couldn’t even finish it.
Dinner
Li Jiang – at The Ritz Carlton
I am a really big fan of Ritz Carlton and have been for about 10 years. I have never had bad service at any of their locations. In fact, I recognize this company for their superior customer service and how it is consistent company wide, even in different countries. That being said, lets discuss this fantastic meal.
Normally I would try and eat a lot of the local foods while visiting new countries, but I don’t make that a general rule. We took all of our servers recommendations, from spring rolls, wasabi prawns, dim sum, duck tacos, pineapple rice, and drinks such as a blueberry tea and peach bellini.
We are so full right now – but it was delicious. The duck tacos are something I have never had and I can easily say they are the BEST tacos in the world. I eat tacos at least once a week and these are not comparable to any taco I have ever had. 10 stars for the tacos!
When dining here you get the option to dine indoors or out. We chose outside because the hotel has the BEST view, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
These were all my favorites while visiting Abu Dhabi. If you happen to visit, I would suggest trying them! Everything here is done high end and you won’t be disappointed.
Wow! Looks amazing! I’m guessing pretty expensive?

Actually not really – the exchange rate is about 1 USD to 3.47 dirhams.
Jumeirah at Etihad Towers is one of my favourite hotels in Abu Dhabi : )
